Since TLC is airing the old episodes, I thought I shed some light on how the show works. We’ve discussed this before, but it’s buried somewhere in the archived posts.

When the show first started, Kate made a wishlist of things that she wanted, and that became the theme of each episode–the carpet, twin’s room, bunk beds, cow, hairplugs, teeth whitening, trips, etc. EVERYTHING that you see them do or buy is completely paid for out of the budget for the show or traded for free advertising. Kate went on and on about saving up for special days, you saw her paying for things, she talked about budgeting, etc. It is all for the appearance that they are a struggling family with 8 children. They needed to be relatable. They didn’t pay for any of it.

The episodes are also staged. Here’s how it works…there is a staff of people reading these blogs and they base the shows around what people are talking about. I haven’t watched many episodes, but I do know some of the behind the scenes events.

The Christmas episode from 2007. Producers told Kate that the viewers wanted to see her show appreciation to their helpers. They told her what the episode was going to be. I think they baked cookies and then went caroling (of course this was probably one of their many “traditions”–those are all fake too). Kate threw a fit. She didn’t want to do it, but she did…because they were trying to pacify the viewers.

Another example is the “Games Gosselins Play” (I think that might have been the same episode as their “mission statement”). I actually did watch this one. This was around the time that I started reading discussion boards and finding out that there were many people opposed to the show. It was so obvious that the mission statement was addressing all of the concerns that I had been reading online. The game time was just ridiculous. After the episode, I called Jodi and said, “what was that?”. She hadn’t watched it, so I explained that it came across so fake (at least to me). Jodi was with Kate when she got “the call” about the theme for that episode. Kate said something like, “so now I have to pretend that I play with my kids”. They also wanted her to pay special attention to the boys.

Don’t believe everything you see. The children are also being prompted to say or do certain things. They signed their lives away to TLC and they will continue to spin the show to keep the viewer’s interest. I don’t believe this show will go away until the viewers decide that they don’t want to be played anymore.

Of course, you’ve all figured out that they are showing Kate cook/bake to promote her upcoming cookbook. The show has now turned into a show about a family with a reality show–move to a mansion, cross-over shows, book tour, talk shows…

I’ve only watch a handful of episodes. I haven’t even seen all of the episodes that Jodi has been in. I made a personal decision long ago to do what I can to give those children the privacy and respect that they deserve. I refuse to watch and participate in something that I feel so strongly against.

Please don’t watch on Monday. You’re not going to learn anything new by watching. They will only show what they think people want to see and it isn’t real anyway. They will probably drag this out (J&K’s “relationship”) for the entire season. They just string the viewers along hoping that they will come back for more

Kate Gosselin is the WORST Mother in the world

To sell out her poor children and leave them begging for Daddy not to go away anymore? That is just the lowest of evils and she is the one to blame for all of it. She has sold her children, their youth and innocence out all for the sake of the mighty buck?!

She has been begging TLC for 2 more seasons. TLC was supposed to air a new TV show about JLO and her twins. They have sense scraped that show in favor for a double season of Jon and Kate. WAHOO..we all get a front row seat for the demise of the poor innocent children’s lives and family! TLC told Kate that they would not give her one more season without marriage counseling. Well the first time counseling was talked about, Kate supposedly through one of her famous hissy fits. Now because she will get more money, she is all interested. This women is not at all worried about her husband, her marriage or her kids. She’s worried about who’s going to pay for all her plastic surgery, her hair, toes, shopping, and who’s gonna give her all the freebies. I guess the mental well being of her boys who are acting out, who two oldest daughters who are withdrawing more and not doing so hot in school is not important. THANK GOD the department of labor in PA has finally taken notice and is now officially investigating Jon and Kate Gosselin along with TLC about the explotation of the children. Hopefully someone will do something and either give Jon full custody and make Kate have visitation or give the kids to Kevin and Jodi.

Jon and Kate Plus 8…Should be titled..Kate throw’s Jon under the bus!

So we have all waited with baited breath for the season premier of Jon and Kate Plus 8. Jon and Kate face each other for the first time..ewwww ahhhh! What this should have been called was Kate throw’s Jon under the bus!

I’m sorry I”m going to say it..Kate is a Bitch! My husband watched the show today where they go green and he goes “Wow..she is a real witch!” Someone really needs to walk up and slap that women straight across the face!

I do not care what Jon did or did not do. Kate, you have taken your husband for granted for 10 years! You have publicly humiliated this man. Kate who claims to be a “Christian” know’s better than anyone, that God never designed any man to be treated the way she treats Jon. What is transpiring right now in the Gosselin house hold, is the very reason why. The man begins to resent the wife. The man begins to be weak in the children’s eyes. Jon is never allowed to be the man of the house, the leader, the finale word. It’s either Kate’s way or no way and God help anyone who steps in her way.
Kate has no one to blame for this mess but herself. It has been years in the making. You can not day in and day out mistreat, verbally abuse, degrade, humiliate and neuter a man in private and public and not except him to change, to grow angry and restless. Kate needs to learn a huge lesson in respect. She needs to learn to listen, let go and keep her big, controlling mouth shut! She needs to learn that yes everyone is responsible for their actions but people are reactors. If you grab a dog by the ears and yank yard, it’s going to eventually bite you. Is it the dog’s fault for biting or the idiot’s fault for hurting the dog to begin with? Treat Jon well, my guess is, he’s going to be ok with what is going on, treat him bad and he’s only going to want out. Who seriously would not want a break from that women??!! All Kate did was keep saying she has alot of anger and can’t understand why the Jon she has known has changed. You don’t think Jon has alot of anger? Hmmmm let’s think Kate, why on earth did Jon change? Maybe because you have become a greedy, obnoxious, Pain in the butt, Shrew!?? Just a wild guess.

Hey Kate, stop telling yourself your doing all of this for the kids. You’re lying! You’re doing it for yourself. For the fame, fortune, glitz and glam oh and the freebies. If you weren’t, the second your family was in trouble, you would never have continued. Jon is your family, and in God’s eyes, those kids you say you are doing everything for, are only on LOAN to you! Eventually one day, they will be gone and they are going to resent the HELL out of you for destroying their family! I hope your free sunglasses, clothes, dinners and solar panels were worth that price!

OH yea, and leave Mady and Cara alone! They are kids! Let them be kids..they are not your babysitters, personal assistants or paid help! They are children who love their daddy and are very confused. It is not their job to clean up your mess and pick up your slack!

Kate needs to let Jon have friends. Kate needs to let Jon have space..space to heal..space to from her and not demand he be there every second of every day. She expects him to do things she’s not willing to do herself. She’s not there with the kids all the time. She’s out and about or has her assistance or the Pa’s do things for her.

Jon a Kate Plus 8, How much is on the line

We all know neither Jon and Kate Gosselin care about the children. No they are not the biggest casualty of this sham of a marriage. The following report that was printed recently does…Did I mention..I TOLD YOU SO??

Marc Berman, senior television editor at Mediaweek, says producers cannot continue to portray the Gosselins as an everyday family trying to raise eight kids.

“Their lives have changed – they’re not struggling anymore,” Berman tells Usmagazine.com. “They’re eating at fancy restaurants now. Yeah, they still have eight children, but things are different.

Below, a sample of just some of the swag they’ve scored:

– Front-loader washing machines

– Free solar panels for “Going Green” episode

In order for the show to survive, Mediaweek’s Berman says the Gosselins need to be upfront with the audience.

“They’re now a celebrity couple,” says Berman. “The emphasis of the show has changed, and they need to address how they’ve evolved.”

“If they don’t evolve the show, I think the audience is going to be upset,”
he tells Us. “You can’t fool an audience.”

Well obviously you can. Alot of you have run around with your heads stuck in the sand for years now. Emailing me and other saying we are jealous. The people you should be angry with are Jon and Kate for allowing you to believe the lies they have been spewing for years to make their wallets nice and fat. Dear Lord I hope someone has set some money aside for these kids….For housing, food, therapy!

Jon and Kate Gosselin….TOLD YOU SO!!

I could gloat but we will live it at that, to all those nasty messages saying I needed to get a life..sour grapes..jealous..blah blah blah. It’s not sour grapes nor jealousy. Why would I be jealous that my family is falling apart, my kids are scared to death, being teased and traumatized? There is NOTHING to be jealous over. I did however have the ability long ago to see this Train wreck coming from a mile away. WHY? Because I did not take them at face value, I did research. Many could not believe that these good Christian people would do anything wrong and as I have always said, where there is smoke, there is fire.

In the last two weeks, Kate has gone from saying I am hesitant to believe Jon would cheat and we are taking care of these matters in private to, calling up People Magazine to give an interview that she says is the ONLY truth. Wow..where have we heard that before. Oh right..her offical website. If you aren’t on our page or TLC…nothing else you hear or read is true.??!! Kate Gosselin would not know the Truth if it came up and smacked her right in the face…which someone really should at this point. Maybe it will knock the stupidity right out of her…no wait that would take a brick or a hundred bricks. But I degress, in less than week, Kate has gone from, we are dealing with this in private, my family is ok, this goes with the show, too..accusations of her cheating, calling up People magazine for an exclusive interview to tell “The Truth” again? She now says she believes Jon is cheating, that Divorce is an option, but let’s not forget what really matters. HER HAIR! Everyone wants her hair..her hair is the new “Rachel” …I’d rather go bald than have that women’s hair..oh and let’s not forget “The show MUST GO ON”

Now that we all know where Kate’s devotion is, money, fame, attention…I can’t help but wonder..where are the kids? Ya know, those great little faces that she has exploited to make her rich and famous? Who is taking care of them while Jon is out at this 23 year old house and Kate is on the road getting more fame and glory oh and let’s not forget money? Who is telling them it’s going to be ok? Wait..no one can tell them it’s going to be ok. See these two very irresponsible, greedy people, had 8 children that they could not afford to take care of. Answer: Get a national tv show and lots of freebies. Jon has NO education and no real job he’s ever held. Was actually fired  for stealing time from one of his companies by Kate’s on admission. Beth’s husband gave him a pitty job that he lost when greedy Kate kicked them out of their lives over money from the show and book. Kate has not worked in years. These kids are going to go from a life or privledge to welfare in a matter of years. There was an interview where Jon had supposedly said the little ones don’t know but the older two kinda do? SERIOUSLY??! The 6 are 5, they know. They may not understand but they know something is very wrong and can pick up on the stress. The 2 8 year olds, are probably being teased, taunted, Cara becoming more withdrawn and Maddi had emotional problems for years!

My biggest issue is, where is the Integrity of these two? The give Christians horrible names. Members of their home church have been quoted as saying “Jon and Kate are horrible and they were lying from the beginning” Jon and Kate have professed being Christians for years. Put Bible verses all around the house, where the Isaiah tshirts. Ok, so where is God in their marriage? Why didn’t Kate do what any good Christian women would that travels? Hire a female bodyguard. Why? to protect her..her heart..her relationship, her marriage. That temptation would not be there. Now she could have not only ruined her marriage but this other families because she did not practice that one basic idea. Women need women friends..men need men. Jon is just as guilty. A Christian man, husband and father has no business being at a bar full of young women at all hours of the night. Has no business at another women’s house to where he’d even been slightly tempted. These two supposed “Adults” have made horrible decisions that will cost many people for years to come. They were given an oppertunity where they could have shed light on Christianity, been a true example of how God provides when you trust Him and are faithful. But they chose not too. They have only made a mockery out of marriage, God, Vows, Christianity and family. Kate, “THIS” has nothing to do with what comes with being on a popular tv show, this is what comes when you make bad decisions. ALL choices have consequences…and those consequences do not just affect you. I could not face myself knowing I willingly and selfishly, hurt my kids and possibly traumatized them for life. Destroyed my marriage, my family, my families family and several others families,  all in the name of Fame and fortune. Was it worth the price Kate and Jon?

Jon and Kate plus 8..A Moral question.

Let me pose a moral question to you.

If someone walked up to you and told you, they struggled to feed their kids. Struggle to put clothes on their backs not just their own. Can’t do Christmas very well on and on. If you give money out of the goodness of your heart and later found out that none of the above is true…..You’d be ROYALLY PISSED! You’d been had, swindled..taken..more importantly..LIED TOO!

The Gosselins have lied and flat out omitted several Key facts in their Sob Story to people, tv and churches about their situation. Is the difference that the Gosselins are on tv? Does that make it ok? Does being on a popular National Tv show, make it ok for them to lie and steal from good hearted Americans just so they can futher THEIR AMERICAN DREAM?
I still think it’s hysterical that people do not want to believe that the Jon and Kate could possibly be lying and be greedy. Maybe it’s the desire to believe in morals and family. I have no problem with that, that is why I origionally began to watch the show. A husband and wife with lots of Blessings struggleing and making it in this big bad world. However when I began to read reports QUOTED by Kate about saying how the state needed to help her raise and take care of her 6 little blessings, how they recieve free clothes and shoes nearly every month from expensive stores, how she has 2 paid assistants, a newly paid babysitter, Jon now has a brand new expensive car..a 1.3 million dollar home, 2 book deals…and non of this includes the mention of the endorcement money they receive from major labels and payments from TLC….yet if they go to a church they STILL take a love offering?! I’m sorry, that is LYING! They are using those 6 little blessings to further THEIR greed!

I do not understand how people stick their heads in the sand about the matter. What is better TV..”Oh we receive free clothing from Gap and Gymboree that I go pick out and pick up myself” Or…we don’t have alot of money and scraped together 200 dollars so Jon and I who do without could go buy a few nice pieces of clothing??

They also say that TLC will not allow them to show much about their faith. This is a complete lie. If The Roloffs can and the family from table of 12 can..then why can’t the Gosselins? Or is it, they don’t want to? Get your heads out of the sand people! Become aware, if you can deal with what they are doing, then fine. But don’t attack me for posing hard questions. I am not an I hate Kate sight or I hate the Gosselins. I am a former fan who really believed in this family and is posing hard questions now saying…WHY are we saying this is ok? That it’s ok to exploit these beautiful Kids so mommy can have an expensive coach purse or daddy can have hair plugs, a personal trainer?
